Asia Civil begins long term contract in the Middle East

Asia Civil has recently secured a three-year contract to deliver construction management services for a multinational manufacturer's operations in the Middle East.

The contract requires Asia Civil to establish a "design & build" capability inside the client's organisation for undertaking turnkey marine infrastructure projects. This work includes developing a comprehensive management system and procedures for implementation within the client's organisation, in addition to having direct responsibility for project delivery across multiple sites in the region.

The projects are generally being delivered within defense bases or high security facilities, therefore the restricted environment requires Asia Civil to undertake highly detailed engineering, construction sequencing, procurement and logistics planning. Additionally, given the projects involve both civil and marine infrastructure scope, robust health and safety procedures covering offshore and onshore operations are being developed.

Asia Civil staff have mobilised in the United Arab Emirates to commence project planning and also in the United States to work with the client's management and manufacturing teams.
